October 19-20, 2015 in Birmingham officers from all around Alabama and in different clubs such as FBLA, CCYLP, FFA, FCCLA, SKILLS USA, and HOSA came together for the JLDC conference (Joint Leadership Development Conference).  During the conference the students listened to many speakers. Those Speakers include Sam Glen, Julie Carrier, Byron V. Garrett, and Kevin Wanzer. The students also received entertainment from the Army Materiel Command Band. The students from Elba High School were Ariel Strain, Kelsey Kelley, Keondra Burrows, Isaiah Daniels, Daniel Jimenez, Tripp Hudson, Maggie Johnson, Chanlyn Free, Marry Brunson, Caleb Walden, J Cole Spicer, Terreia Hammonds, Kieosha Smith, Alberto Zavala, Bridge Harrison, and Nijah Wilson. The conference was an overall good experience for the students as they were able to learn about the importance of having a great imagination can change the world.
