Toilet paper hanging from trees, bushes and house tops, as well as, scattered across the lawn can mean only one thing - it’s Homecoming Week! That has been the case this week in Elba as youngsters have been having fun “rolling” the yards of their fellow classmates, coaches, teachers, administrators and more. Over the years, this has become a tradition in the local area. Social media has been filled this week with people showing off the “love” the Elba youngsters have shown them by creating the toilet paper displays in their yards. This tends to be good, clean fun as the local youth celebrate Homecoming Week with the majority of people realizing no real harm is intended. Above, Elba City Schools Superintendent Chresal Threadgill and his family were among the first to be ‘hit’ this Homecoming Week as they awoke to a yard filled with “tp” Monday morning, Oct. 12th.
