The Elba High School Wellness Center gym, a part of the new Elba Career Academy, officially opened last Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the school. School officials and coaches were joined by Elba Mayor Mickey Murdock for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the special occasion. The Elba Career Academy is being implemented at the school to better enhance activities and learning opportunities available to students. This gym will provide a unique option for students to improve their fitness and wellness options.
