Ms. Pylant’s 5th grade Social Studies class is learning about Native American Indian societies. They have enjoyed journeying through ancient Native America as they learned about civilizations that built their homes in cliffs, buried their treasures in mounds, and whose ancestors live on today in our country. As a class project students were asked to create a family totem pole. Students were allowed to use any materials to create their totem poles. Students put their whole heart into their creations, and came up with some unique and beautiful totem poles!
