On August 20th, 2014, Elba High School Juniors received their class rings. Mr. Todd Smith, Elba High’s Principal and a representative from the ring company presented the rings, while relatives of the class of 2016 proudly watched.  Each student who ordered a ring walked across the stage, received their ring, and then took a picture with Mr. Smith. The class assembled in a circle to symbolize the class will be together until they graduate.  Most of the class have been together since kindergarten, so the circle was especially meaningful for students here at Elba High School.  After the circle, and many pictures by proud relatives, everyone gathered for refreshments provided by Balfour. Each year the rings symbolize the journey that 2016 graduates will take together, even after May 2016 comes and goes.
