On Thursday, April 3, 2014, South Alabama FFA hosted their annual district competition at Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Alabama.

Elba High School FFA members competed in the Poultry Judging, Floriculture, and Ag. Mechanics Career Development Events (CDE) at a district level. Elba’s Ag. Mechanics team placed 4^th allowing them to proceed to a state competition level. Members of Elba’s Ag. Mechanics Team are Kyle Richard, Cody Simpson, John Gray, and Caleb Walden.

 The Alabama FFA State Career Development Events’ competitions will be held in Auburn, Alabama, on June 3, before the Alabama State FFA Convention held in Montgomery, Alabama, June 4-6. Elba’s FFA chapter plans are to attend the 2014 convention. 

Elba High School’s Kaleb Richard also fulfilled his duties as South District FFA President. Kaleb, along with the South District Officer Team, hosted and planned all the competitions at Enterprise High School.
