ELBA HIGH SCHOOL

This past weekend, six students from Elba High School were selected to participate in the Middle School SEUS Honor Bands at Troy University. Only the best Middle school and Jr. High school band students from AL, GA, and FL were selected to take part in Middle School SEUS. These students auditioned for chairs in one of the three Honor Bands: Gold Band being the top band with Silver and Cardinal Bands equal in ability. All six students represented Elba very well. Five of the students earned chairs in the Gold Band, and the sixth student earned second chair in the Cardinal Band. With students of this caliber attending Elba High School, the future of the EHSMTB looks very bright. I am proud to be the band director of such fine musicians. It is GREAT to be an Elba Tiger!
